Capacity building: ‘competenze di rete, rete di competenze’ (2013-2014)

The main goal of the project is to contribute to the promotion and empowerment of socio-environmental volunteering and associations in our region. In specific we aim to improve our own ‘managerial sustainability’ and to develop and maintain the relationships with partners and networks, consisting of different types of Actors, with whom our association interacts and collaborates. By defining which skills we need to develop in order to realize and support projects related to sustainability, we were able to specify our most important Capacity Building objectives.

1. Improving the managerial sustainability of Forum Cooperazione e Tecnologia through:
a. the qualification of our staff members and strengthening our internal services;
b. the acquisition and consolidation of several transversal skills, which can allow us to better deal with diversification of the strategies related to activities in new intervention areas;

2. Development and maintenance of our relationships with partners and networks, consisting of different types of Actors, with whom our association interacts and collaborates, namely:
a. the individuals and entities that contribute to the realization of the projects in which Forum Cooperazione e Tecnologia is engaged;
b. the operators of the realities that animate the ‘sub-networks’, established during the realization of our projects;
c. Social enterprises’ operating in Lombardy;

3. Consolidation of environmental volunteering and of its networks, in particular addressed at:
a. the representatives of ‘Gruppi di Acquisto Solidale’ (the Italian form of Community Supported Agriculture), Networks of Ethical Economy and of associations and local cooperatives
